Arctic Circle-Purpe pipeline builders cut across a river Taz

Despite the frost, there carried out operations on an erection of one of the most technically complex facilities of the oil mains Arctic Circle-Purpe – Taz river crossing.

There is constant river bed (appr.1 km) and the depth is up to 20 meters on the construction site. Under the project, the channel part of the crossing is carried out by means of directional drilling method and using underground laying method – on the vast flood-land territory. It contributes to minimize negative impact on the environment in the north. There used innovative technologies and construction materials. The complexity of the project is that the contractors have restricted time, only a number of winter months to carry out operations from A to Z.
