The first multilateral well at Vankor is very productive

The production rate of the unique horizontal multibranch well at the Vankor deposit is twice as high as the original forecast. The real start up oil rate made up 290-310 tons a day.
The appliance of new technology will contribute to an increase of the production efficiency of CJSC “Vankorneft” (“Rosneft”) and involves extra oil and gas resources into development. The construction of the well was finished in late December 2014 and launched on January 1st, 2015. The total length of the bore hole makes up 4.3 thousand meters.
