Production at the blocks 4 and 5 of the Achimov reservoir, Urengoi deposit to start in 2018

Austrian oil-and-gas company OMV and Russian “Gazprom” plan to start production at the blocks No4 and 5 of the Achimov reservoir of Urengoi deposit in 2018. The chief executive of OMV R.Seele stated.
According to him, the project undergoes economic feasibility at present. He hopes that the companies will be able to sign asset swap agreement before the end of the year within the frame of which the Austrian concern will receive 24.98% at two sites of the Urengoi deposit.
