Gas pumping from Kazakhstan to China will rise to 55 bln cubic m a year

​The volume of gas transportation by the Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline is planned to be increased to 55 bln cubic m a year, Vice-Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, M. Mirgazalliev, said.

“Last year 30 bln cubic m of gas were transported by the Kazkahstan-China pipeline though a few years ago this gas pipeline didn’t exist. The construction of the 3rd branch of this pipeline is almost over. It will allow to pump up to 55 bln cubic m of gas a year”, M. Mirzagaliev said.

He reminded that particular attention is paid to the transport-logistics and gas transportation projects in the program of realization of a new economic policy of Kazakhstan “Nurly zhol”, the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reports.
