China plans to import 7 million barrels of oil per day in 2016

Until the end of 2016, the daily oil import to China will be about 7 million barrels. This was reported by Chinese petroleum company Sinopec.

"China continues to buy oil to increase its strategic reserves. The increase in the volume of the import is contributed by the demand from independent refining companies, seeking to make maximum benefits from the fall in the raw material price in terms of constant prices of gasoline," – Sinopec stated.
