Kyrgau to produce 1.5 tons of gold a year by 2019

​“Alatau Korday” LLP by 2019 will put into operation a processing plant with the capacity of 1.5 tons of gold a year at the Kyrgay deposit (Korday district of the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan).

The investment is assessed at 1.962 bln tenge (about $5 mln).

The plant will process and enrich ore with the final production of a 75% concentrate containing gold and silver.

The preparation of documentation necessary for the construction of the plant comes to the end.

The construction of the plant started in 2015 in the framework of the previously approved Government program for 2015-2019 on the industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan.
