Gazprombank to grant a bank guarantee to Bashneft with the limit of 59 bln roubles

​Gazprombank will grant a bank guarantee to Bashneft OJSC with the limit of 59 bln roubles. The parties signed the respective agreement on May 18th, Bashneft reports.

The deadline of execution of obligations by the deal: from the day of signing the agreement until October 1st 2016.

The bank guarantee is issued in respect of the company’s obligations before legal bodies, Federal Customs Service and Federal Tax Service.

Gazprombank OJSC is in the top-3 largest banks of Russia by its financial results.

The net loss of Gazprombank under IAS in 2014 made up 13.7 bln roubles against net profit a year earlier. The total loss made up 1.2 bln roubles against the total profit of 33.9 bln roubles in 2013. The group’s assets rose in 2014 by 30.8% having reached 4.769 trln roubles as of the end of 2014.
