Gazprom optimizes “Sila Sibiri” construction plans

Gazprom cut forecast on the construction of “Sila Sibiri” gas pipeline in 2016 because of optimization of expenses, but does not change plans on the launch of the gas pipeline. This year, it plans to construct approximately 400 km of linear part, deputy chairman of company’s Board of Management V.Markelov said.

To date, there has been constructed 115 km of “Sila Sibiri”, of which 86 km is at “Chayandy-Lensk” and over 29 km at “Lensk-Olekminsk” part of the pipeline. This year, we plan to construct 400 km of linear part,” he stated at the press-conference.
