Gazprom still opposes access of independent producers to Power of Siberia

Gazprom has received applications from independent producers for access to the Power of Siberia gas pipeline, but keeps implementing the project on its own, said the company’s Board member Vitaly Markelov at the press conference on Wednesday.

He stressed that the contract was signed between Gazprom and Chinese CNPC. "The project is implemented by Gazprom in accordance with the contract. As for the independent (manufacturers), there were requests, but we do the project on our own and at our own gas reserves," - said Markelov.
