Russia and Saudi Arabia agree on cooperation in oil-and-gas sector, but have no projects so far

Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation A.Novak and Minister of Oil of Saudi Arabia A. Al-Naimi have agreed on cooperation in the energy sector. However, according to RIA Novosti, they have no joint projects so far. But they have an agreement on creation of working group, which is going to work over the concrete plans together with the companies of both countries.

According to A.Novak, Russia can see an interest of Saudi Arabia in the realization of energy projects in Russia. “We also have interest towards projects in Saudi Arabia,” Novak added.
