SIBUR and SAP CIS have signed a cooperation agreement in IT sphere

​Sibur and SAP CIS have signed an agreement of strategic cooperation which will allow to realize the largest Russian project in the sphere of IT in the oil chemicals sector.

The agreement was signed in the framework of the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum. The CEO of Sibur, D. Konov, and President of SAP in the Central and Eastern Europe, M. Kleinemayer, participated in it. This agreement was the continuation of cooperation between Sibur and SAP that started with the implementation of the ERP-system at the enterprises of Sibur and at the Corporate Center. Single methods of planning and collection of actual data were worked out for all the enterprises then. Over 400 scenarios for testing the most critical situations were worked out.

“In the framework of cooperation it is planned to implement he system of SAP at all production sites of Sibur. The realization of the project is planned to be over by 2019”, is reported.
