EVRAZ stops its metallurgic plant in the Czech Republic

One of the largest metallurgic enterprises in the Czech Republic, Evraz Vitkovice Steel (EVS) will be stopped for a time from December 1st of 2013 because of a lack of orders for rolled metal. Representatives of trade unions fear the full stoppage of the enterprise, the Chairman of the EVS’s trade union committee Zdenek Kolos reported.

“Officially the plant will be stopped for a month,” - Zdenek Kolos says, - “But the problem is that the enterprise can be closed finally”.
