In October, Russia halved imports of steel with polymer coverings

In January – October, Russia imported 779,200 tons of flat steel with polymer coverings, according to the custom and railway statistic data. It was by 12.4% more than last year, and by 37.7% more than in 2011, setting the record for the whole history of the product supplies to Russia. The largest volume of 115,000 tons was imported in June and July. In August, the index set record of 137,200 tons. However imports reduced later, by 16% in September and by 47% in October.
