Finland has no plans to abandon Russian gas.

The Government of Finland considers Russia a reliable supplier of natural gas and is not going to refuse to cooperate with it, Erkki Tuomioja, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, informs.

"Finland has been purchasing Russian gas for 40 years, and never had any problems neither with the price, nor with the deliveries. Russia is the only supplier of natural gas to Finland. There is no reason to abandon our cooperation with Russia", - Tuomioja stated.
