Gazprom Neft is going to drill the first prospecting well at Halabja block in Iraqi Kurdistan in 2015-2016. Now the company completes 2D seismic exploration at a rate of 1,000 linear km at the block.
Gazprom Neft continues additional exploration of the discovered field at Garmian block in Kurdistan and prepares to its full-scale development. In the total, it drilled 5 wells at the block, 2 in 2011, 1 in 2013 and 2 in 2014, ITAR-TASS reports.
