Head of Naftogas suggests European observers monitoring gas flows from Russia to the Ukraine

The presence of the European observers at the gas measuring stations (GMS) located at the entrance of the Russian gas to the Ukraine could contribute to the transparency of its supply to Europe. Head of NAK Naftogas Ukrainy, A. Kobolev, says.

“We want to suggest Europe monitoring the gas flow from the Ukraine to Europe”, he said at the conference in Brussels on Tuesday.

A. Kobolev said that all GMS at the entrance to the Ukrainian gas transport stations are located in Russia and Belarus and that makes the possibilities to control the date complicated.
