Shah Deniz Consortium signed 2 contracts at $226 mln.

The Consortium on the development of the Azerbaijani gas condensate deposit “Shah Deniz” signed two contracts at a total $226 million within the framework of the second stage of the development of the deposit.

The contracts, signed with “ShawCor Nederland B.V.” considers anti-corrosion coating and concreting of underwater export pipelines and updating of the enterprise “Caspian Pipe Coatings”(CPC) on pipe insulation.

Within the framework of the contract all building and isolating works will be carried out with the use of the local resources at the plant Caspian Pipe Coatings. The insulation work will start after the completion of the modernization of the plant in January 2015.
