Bashneft wants to buy minorities

The Board of Directors of Bashneft suggests buying ordinary shares at 1983 roubles and privileged ones at 1403 roubles from minorities, the company stated yesterday. It is by 0.85% and 1.68% less than the market price. The shareholders, who did not vote or voted against the reorganization of Bashneft, will be able to sell their securities. The company will direct 21 billion roubles. There will be redeemed only the preferred shares, bought from shareholders, is said in a statement. A spokesman for Bashneft does not explain the causes. The purchased ordinary shares the company may place on IPO, says one of the participants of the management of the company.
