"Rosneft" launches the program of unmanned aerial vehicles usage (UAVs) for the control of oil pipelines in the Nefteyugansk district, the press release informs.
Given the scale of the territory on which the "RN-Yuganskneftegaz" operates, and greater length of pipelines for different purposes (over 11.5 thousand kilometers), the use of drones will solve a number of problems: security, environmental monitoring and more.
