In 2012, Belarus declined oil exports by 2.4% to $1.288 billion in price, and by 1.8% to 1.645 million tons in physical volume. Belarus oil is exported by the state monopolist in oil production, the state enterprise Belorusneft. Last year it exported Belarus oil to Germany only, whereas a year earlier it also exported oil to Lithuania at a rate of 40,100 tons a year. Gross profit declined due to reduction in physical exports and price. Last year average price was $782 per ton compared to $787.5 per ton in 2011.
