Tatneft increases index of oil recovery from carbonate formation

A technology for the control of the carbonate basin flood water by the combined effect of sediment and gel forming compositions is introduced in Tatneft.
The technology, offered by TatNIPINeft’s specialists, is used during the development of fields of nonuniform permeable carbonate basins. This method includes several mechanisms of effect and is implemented by the pumping of sediment and gel forming compositions into the injection wells.
A gel forming composition of high tenacity is used for large disruptures blocking. This is necessary to seek insulating properties in the conditions of periodic change of the disruptures size.
