As of Jan 1st 2015, 123 wells were operated at the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli block of deposits in the Azeri sector of the Caspian – 84 extraction and 39 gas and water –injection wells, is said in the report of BP-Azerbaijan for 2014.
“In 2014, 14 oil extraction and 4 water-injection and 1 gas-injection wells were drilled at ACG”, the company said.
In 2013, 118 wells were operated at the block – 81 gas extraction and 37 injection wells.
In 2014 oil extraction from ACG made up 233 mln barrels or 31.5 mln tons (on average 638 thousand barrels a day), by 2.2% less than in 2013.
