BP has drilled 7 wells in the framework of Shakh-Deniz development

In 2014 BP-Azerbaijan drilled 7 wells in the framework of the 2nd stage of development of the Shakh-Deniz gas condensate deposit in the Azeri sector of the Caspian, is said in the report of BP-Azerbaijan for 2014. The company is the operator of development of Shakh-Deniz.

“In 2014 the realization of the program of advance drilling by Shakh-Deniz-2 went on. The drilling of wells at the deposit was carried out from the drilling wells “Istiglal” and “Geidar Aliev”.

The wells are drilled aiming for the preparation for the first gas production in the framework of the 2nd stage of Shakh-Deniz development. The drilling will go on until all the wells necessary to reach the gas extraction to the planned stable level are put into operation”, is reported.
