Kazakhstan to reduce export duty for dark oil products to $60
The export duty for dark oil products will fall to $60/ton, Minister of National Economy, E. Dosaev, said.
Such a reduction will allow to improve the competitiveness of the Kazakh oil refinery plants, he says.
“Concerning the export duties, our calculations stay the same. The average annual oil price stays at the level of $50/barrel, the Government and Budget Committee have approved the respective decision”.
We have also lowered the export duties for dark oil products. Today at our oil refinery plants face overloading of grease oil and gasoil and you know that annually we grant a seasonal discount and reduce specially the export duty from April 15th. This year we postpone it to May 15th but on average there will be a new export duty for all heavy dark oil products - $60 instead of $112 so as to improve the competitiveness of our oil refinery plants, Mr. Dosaev said.
