Enel is disappointed in the heat.

It is no longer interested in investment projects in Russia.

Italian Enel, which owns almost 10 GW of thermal power plants in Russia, no longer considers thermal generation as a priority investment. The company intends to invest primarily in green energy. But even in this area of the Russian Federation Enel is not very interested: the company does not want to invest even in government-backed programs of renewable energy because of the strict requirements for localization of equipment.
