Gazprom’s dividends for 2014 might be increased – financial director

​The dividends of Gazprom for 2014 might be increased, the company’s financial director, A. Kruglov, said.

The financial and economic situation in Russia will influence on the payment of dividends to Gazprom’s shareholders but there will be positive factors as well, and they will allow to increase the dividends.

The deputy chairman of Gazprom said that a partial settlement of the debt for the shipped gas by the Ukraine refers to such factors.

Mr. Kruglov said that Gazprom plans to keep the dividends for 2014 at the level of 25% of its net profit under RAS.

On the results of 2013 Gazprom paid dividends at the volume of 7.2 roubles per share. Gazprom’s net profit under RAS rose by 12.9% and made up 628.311 bln roubles against 2012. 170.449 bln roubles or 25% of net profit were spent for dividends. Gazprom’s dividends for 2013 made up 5.99 roubles per share, a year earlier – 8.97 roubles per share.
