Nord Stream invests 100 million euros into ecological research and 40 million euro into ecological monitoring

40 million euros have been invested in the environmental monitoring of the Nord Stream gas pipeline and 100 million euros - in the ecological studies, the head of the environmental management of the project, Helg Bruno reports.
As for some of the monitoring results, Bruno noted that "the building fleet makes no more noise than commercial vessels". Any negative impact of the gas pipeline on the movement of birds and harbour porpoises wasn’t uncovered too.
