Key energy saving project of NLMK o be pulverised coal injection

The largest steel producer in Russia NLMK of Vladimir Lisin has called introduction of pulverized coal injection systems at the 6th and 7th blast furnaces of the Lipetsk site a key energy-saving project in the near future. As NLMK’s vice president of energy Alexander Starchenko reported, in 2015 the group plans as low-cost optimization measures, as investment projects to achieve the level of best available technologies.
