Vankorneft has started the construction of an oil preparation unit at Suzun deposit

​Vankorneft CJSC, an affiliate of Rosneft OJSC, has started the construction of one of the most important objects at the Vankor cluster at the Suzun deposit – oil preparation unit with the capacity of 5.2 mln tons a year.

Currently the final stage of the engineering preparation of a site for the oil preparation unit goes on, the works on the basement foundation are held.

Simultaneously the operation drilling is held at the deposit. To increase the rates of construction of wells the equipment is shipped by the winter road from the Vankor deposit and the assembly of 3 drilling units at the multi-well pads is held.

In December 2014 the construction and assembly works on the route of the interfiled oil pipeline which will connect the Suzun and Vankor deposits started. Today the piles are being loaded (over 6 thousand piles have been installed). The total length of the oil pipeline will be almost 100 km. Its launch is synchronized with other objects of the first complex of the Suzun deposit – drilling of wells, construction of an oil preparation unit, assembly of the portable gas turbine electric station and other objects.
