Alekperov: Lukoil is interested in Bashneft

Lukoil continues to be interested in Bashneft and hopes that the Government will sell its entire stake, however Lukoil doesn’t intend to buy the asset at any price, head of the largest private Russian oil company Vagit Alekperov told reporters.

"As for Bashneft, yes, we are interested in this asset. We hope that the Government will take a decision to sell its entire package. It will also have an additional cost and the Government has a real buyer in the face of our company. Risks not sell the package are minimal," - Alekperov said.
