Russian pipe manufacturers will share the margin with foreigners.

Russian pipe manufacturers, who won 60% of the lots for the supply of pipes for the Nord Stream 2, will have to share the profits with European steelmakers. OMK of Anatoliy Sedykh has already signed a major contract for the purchase of steel for the project from the Austrian Voestalpine (up to 40% of the volume), ChTPZ of Andrey Komarov also prepares to buy imported steel. Sources "The Kommersant" calls it part of a tacit agreement, but the pipe manufacturers claim that they only diversify supply risks.
