TANAP chooses manager of the project
The manager of the TANAP gas pipeline project's construction will be the international group WorleyParsons. As the company reported, the TANAP consortium had signed a contract with it on the management of the gas pipeline's construction project. The five-year contract will cover all parts of this ambitious project's implementation from the design phase. Its tasks include the coordination, planning, the organization of engineering and contract works, the conclusion of contracts for the supply of equipment and materials, monitoring the implementation of the construction of the pipeline, as well as its individual components, particularly, the compressor stations.
"This contract is critical for success of such a large unit of the Southern Gas Corridor, a regional project that will meet the future demand for natural gas of both Turkey and the European Union," – TANAP’s general director, Saltuk Duzyol stated.
