Government additionally capitalized Naftogas for 8.9 bln grivna in April

​In April the Ministry of Finance issued internal Government bonds for 8.9 bln grivna to increase the capital of NAK Naftogas Ukrainy, the National Bank of the Ukraine reported.

Simultaneously the National Bank of the Ukraine in April purchase internal Government bonds for 7 bln grivna, and in general from the beginning of 2015 – for 34.4 bln grivna.

The bonds were transferred to Naftogas on April 6th and that increased the total volume of internal Government bonds in property of residents-not banks up to 31.7 bln grivna, however, by May 15th it fell to 23.5 bln grivna.

The program of expanded financing of EFF of the Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund restricts the volume of purchase of internal Government bonds by the National Bank of the Ukraine to additionally capitalize Naftogas: 17.2 bln grivna – as of the end of March, 36.1 bln grivna – as of the end of June, 28.3 bln grivna – as of the end of September and December.
