Oil industry doesn’t approve new amendments to Administrative Offense Code
Gazprom, Lukoil and Surgutneftegaz have responded negatively on amendments to the new Administrative Offences Code. The companies believe that the tightening of the Code is redundant and will worsen the situation of business in the country.

Surgutneftegaz of Vladimir Bogdanov in his review notes that together the new provisions of the Code will significantly increase the pressure on company and won’t eliminate gaps in the legislation that caused disputes and difficulties. "These trends are typical not for civil society, but for police states," - of the company notes in its recall.
Among the disadvantages of the amendments to the Administrative Code the oil company calls the emergence of a concept of "the principle of inevitability of administrative responsibility" in the new Code, which is accusatory and will cause "increased repression by the administrative authorities".
