Samotlorneftegas has the first oil output at the South-Mykhay subsoil site

​Samotlorneftegas, affiliate of Rosneft, has put into operation the South-Mykhay license subsoil site, Rosneft reports.

At the well 40113Е of the site the output of 146 tons of oil a day without watercut has been reached.

In 2014, 5 horizontal wells were drilled, the total output of which made up 600 tons of oil a day.

Samotlorneftegas plans to drill 7 wells in 2015 holding a multi-stage layer hydrofracturing – up to 10 operations.

The length of the horizontal site might reach 700 m.

The license for geological study, exploration and hydrocarbons extraction at the South-Mykhay license site was purchased by Samotlorneftegas in 2012 that was an affiliate of TNK-BP at that time.

The one-time payment made up 463.1 mln roubles.
