In January - April 2016 Polypropylene imports to Russia drop by 3%.

Within first four months of the current year the total volume of imports of polypropylene (PP) into Russia decreased by 3% compared to the same period of 2015 and amounted to about 49.4 thousand. Tonnes. Main supply reduction had on stat propylene copolymers (PP-random), according to a survey DataScope report.

Last month Russian companies increased their purchases of polypropylene from overseas markets, the final rate of import was close to the level of 13.8 thousand tons compared to 13.2 thousand tons in March. The main increase was in the supply of Turkmen PP.
