SOCAR has started to drill a new well at the Darwin Bank deposit.
The well #766 with the project capacity of 1,440 m is drilled from the site #720.
The expected output is 5 tons of oil a day.
The drilling of the well is held by the order of Absheronneft oil and gas extraction management of SOCAR.
The Darwin Bank deposit has been developed from 1950 by the Apsheronneft oil and gas extraction management.
The remaining oil and gas reserves of the deposit make up 3 mln tons.
