The first line of “Vladivostok-LNG” to be launched in 2018

Gazprom keeps up the scale of operations in the east of Russia.

The first line of “Vladivostok-LNG” will be put in operation in 2018. The increase of production in the east and the expansion of their presence in the premium high-growth market of the Asian-Pacific region is one of the key directions of the development strategy of the company. It was said about during the press-conference, dedicated to an approach of Gazprom to the Asian-Pacific region markets,” RIA PrimaMedia reports citing the press-service of the company.

Gazprom develops its resources base in Eastern Siberia and the Far East. They carried out geological exploration at the shelf of the Sakhalin island, the republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk and Kamchatka regions. The producing projects are realized in accordance with the schedule. In particular, the second exploitation well will be introduced at the Kirinsky deposit of “Sakhalin-3” project this year. It will allow to supply gas to the Primorsk region and northern part of Sakhalin region from this deposit. In 2015, the company will start Chayandinskoye deposit infrastructure development in Yakutia.
