Novak and Gref argue about terms of end of hydrocarbons era

Oil and gas will remain the main energy sources till 2040. This opinion was expressed during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum by the Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
The Minister expressed confidence that Russia would have an advantage as one of the key producers of hydrocarbons. "The main thing is to use high-tech production and processing methods," - said the official, explained that the structure of the energy balance was shifting to low-carbon fuels.
