The Ukraine intends to increase its gas production by 1 billion cubic meters

The Ukraine plans to increase its own gas production by 1 billion cubic meters. According to the agency Prime, this was said by the head of the country's Energy Ministry Vladimir Demchishin. According to him, the increase in the production is planned to be completed during the next two years.

Currently, the Ukraine produces about 3 billion cubic meters of gas a year, so the increase in the produced volumes by 1 billion cubic meters will be very meaningful and tangible, the Minister said. However, he doesn’t believe in the possibility of any investors to finance these plans, as the gas production in the Ukraine is actually losing money.
