Nickel plant re-launches one of its furnaces

Overhaul of an electric ore smelting furnace №2 (RTP-2) has been completed at the Nickel plant of the Norilsk Nickel’s Zapolyarny subsidiary. From July 1st, the furnace was at technological firing, gradually increasing its capacity. RTP-2 gave the first matte on July 19-22. Today it reached the working loading of 38 MW.
