Export customs duty in Kazakhstan to be strictly connected to oil price

The export duty rate in Kazakhstan will be strictly connected to the oil price, PM K. Masimov said.

The issue of the change of export customs duty calculation and the opportunity of its temporary cancellation has been continually raised by oil extraction companies and the head of the Mangistau region. The Government discussed it and in September the decision on the connection of the export customs duty to oil price will be made, Masimov said.

After that the Government will stop regulating strictly, there will be a direct connection, the decision will be made in September, he said.
