Rosneft has started geological exploration at Minkhovsky license site in Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area

“Rospan International” – the operator with the license for the Minkhovsky license site of federal importance (Rosneft is the subsoil user) has started geological exploration works at the site.

The planned volume of 3D seismic exploration works by the common-depth-point method will make up 700 sq km. The exploration is held aiming for the specification of the structural plan, peculiarities of the tectonic structure of the subsoil site, explanation of hydrocarbons reserves and forecast of gas and condensate perspective objects. The works are planned to be held within 2 years – 2016-2017.
