The signing of the agreement on the supplies of Russian gas to China via the western route may not take place during the visit of President Vladimir Putin to China on September 3rd, and be postponed to the next meeting of the leaders of the two countries. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to China, Andrei Denisov.
At the invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jinping, on September 3rd Putin will take part in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory over Japanese militarism and the end of the Second World War, in which the Soviet Union and China were allies.
