Gazprom to plan to launch the Chayandinskoye field in 2017 and the Kovyktinskoye – in 2024

Gazprom plans to launch the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field in 2017 and the Kovyktinskoye gas condensate field – in 2024, the company’s information for a meeting in the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources reports.

The company expects that the maximum volume of the gas production at the Chayandinskoye field will make up 25 billion cubic meters; it is planned to involve satellites into the field development with the further increase of gas extraction in the Yakutsk gas production centre to 34 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The production at Kovyktinskoye field is expected to be 35 billion cubic meters of gas.
