Income from sale of gas from Shah Deniz-2 to make up $200 billion

The amount of income from the contracts on supplies of Azerbaijani gas from the Shah-Deniz field to Europe, signed in Baku on Thursday, will make up about $200 billion, the SOCAR’s President Rovnag Abdullaev said during the ceremony of contracts signing.
According to him, the negotiations on the agreement on Azerbaijani gas supplies to Europe have lasted for almost five years, and as a results the agreement, which will create a basis for new era of the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan, was achieved.
