TNK-Nyagan receives a natural flow of oil with yield of 160 tons at the Em-Egovsk field

A natural flow of oil with yield of 160 tons per day has been received from formations of the Tyumen group of the Em-Egovsk area of the Krasnoleninskoye oil and gas condensate field. This is a real achievement, because reserves of such reservoirs are hard to recover.
The maximal yield, received due to traditional technology, doesn’t exceed 60 tons per day and high paces of fall make the operation unprofitable. As the regional PR Department of the Sibir (subsidiary of RN Management, Tyumen) reports, the success was provided by carrying out of industrial experiment works on drilling of horizontal wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of formation.
