Testing and replacement of units takes place at Kashagan field

The testing and replacement of units take place at the Kashagan sea field.

"All units, involved in the process of the production, purification and pumping of oil and gas to the land are being tested at the Kashagan field. This is done by mutual request - as the consortium of partners, as well as the competent authorities of Kazakhstan. Such testing is caused by the fact that a part of the equipment was installed several years ago, but because of the postponement of the start of production, it is not in use, and is becoming outdated,"- the consortium’s director of corporate activities Murat Mukhashev said at the public hearing.
