TAPI gas pipeline project participants have signed an agreement with Asian Bank of Development

The participants of TAPI gas pipeline construction project have signed a service agreement with Asian Bank of Development within the framework of International Oil-and-Gas Conference, Turkmen TV states.

The document was signed between state-run “Turkmengas”, the Afgan Gas Corporation, Inter state gas systems (Pakistan), Gail Limited (India) and Asian Bank of Development. RIA Novosti reports.

It is said in the statement that all necessary legal and commercial documents are ready. Now the parties are close to the creation of a consortium TAPI Ltd., which is going to focus on the practical realization of the project. They  currently discuss the legal and technical questions on its creation at present, as well as the attraction of leading foreign companies, which have required technical abilities and an experience in the construction of main pipelines.
