Hungary to start the construction of its part of South Stream in 2015
Hungary plans to start the construction of its part of the South Stream gas pipeline in 2015 despite of the EU and USA objections, as it considers it the only way to provide gas supplies. A highly ranked chairman of Hungary said.
Hungary doesn’t have a choice as the European project Nabucco has been shut down and the plans of construction of the connecting gas pipelines between the countries of the Eastern Europe are very slow, State Secretary for Energy Issues, A. Aradski said.
Everybody speaks only about Hungary but we forget that starting from 2013 Croatia hasn’t made any investment allowing it to supply gas from Croatia to Hungary. The same is with Romania, “Samotlor-express” reports.
